Fitness Kickboxing at Yaeger Self Defense combines the intensity of a cardio workout with the practical skills of martial arts. Led by Grand Master Chris Yaeger—trusted by the multiple law enforcement agencies—you'll learn real striking techniques while getting an incredible full-body workout.

Each 45-minute class is designed to push your limits, burn maximum calories, and build functional strength. Whether you're looking to lose weight, reduce stress, or just try something new, our supportive community welcomes all fitness levels. Do I need prior martial arts experience?

Not at all! Fitness Kickboxing is designed for all experience levels. Our instructors teach proper technique from the ground up, and you'll progress at your own pace. Many of our members had never thrown a punch before their first class.

What if I'm not in great shape?

That's exactly why you're here! Fitness Kickboxing meets you where you are. You can modify any exercise to match your fitness level, and our instructors will help you find the right intensity. Everyone starts somewhere, and our community is incredibly supportive of all fitness journeys.

Will I be sparring or hitting other people?

No sparring! Fitness Kickboxing focuses on striking heavy bags, pads, and partner drills where you hold equipment for each other. It's a non-contact workout that still delivers incredible results and teaches real techniques.

How many calories will I burn?

Most participants burn between 600-800 calories per 45-minute session, depending on intensity and body composition. The combination of cardio intervals, strength movements, and explosive striking makes it one of the most efficient calorie-burning workouts available.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows full range of motion. Bring a water bottle and a towel. You can wear athletic shoes or train barefoot—whichever you prefer. We provide all equipment (gloves, pads, bags).

Can I come to multiple classes per week?

Absolutely! With unlimited membership, you can attend as many classes as you want—up to 8 per week across our Monday-Thursday schedule. Many members come 2-4 times per week for optimal results and recovery.
